Eco Packaging

Eco packaging are materials that are made with recycled materials and are recyclable. Prime Inc packaging products are made from recycled materials and are designed to be biodegradable and compostable. That’s why we’ve been working to create packaging that positively impacts the environment and allows consumers to recycle it easily.

Sustainable packaging has become a key topic of conversation in various industries, from food to beauty. As more consumers are becoming more aware of the environmental impacts of their purchases, brands have started to focus on creating sustainable and green packaging for their products.

Green packaging refers to packaging materials with a minimal effect on the environment. This is accomplished by using raw materials with recyclable properties and reducing waste associated with production processes. For a material to be classified as green, it is important to be recyclable and produce less toxic waste than conventional packaging methods. Here, we’ll explore some of the most common types of eco packaging and why they’re beneficial for both brands and consumers.

Biodegradable Plastic Bags

They are made from plant-derived materials. They are biodegradable in a landfill but cannot be composted because they contain plastic. Although biodegradable plastics have improved over time, they still break down more slowly than traditional plastics and can’t be recycled with other plastics. Additionally, they will not break down in oceans or other bodies of water because the sun’s ultraviolet rays degrade them more quickly than land-based conditions do.

Paper Bags

are made from recycled paper and biodegradable, so they’re a great choice for your business. They come in different sizes and colors, so you can find the right one for your store or event. However, they don’t last as long as plastic or metal containers and may not be as durable during shipping. Another drawback is that they can get wet and become soggy if exposed to rain or moisture.

Cellulose Packaging

is made from renewable resources such as wood pulp, cotton linters, and recycled paper. It may also include recycled materials from other sources, such as waste cooking oil and vegetable oils. Cellulose can be used for food products and comes in various forms, including plastic bags, cartons with a wax layer, and thin films (unwaxed). Thin films are available in different colors and finishes, allowing the packaging to appear similar to traditional plastic wrap without environmental impact.

Corrugated Paper

is a type of paperboard, and it’s made from three layers of paper. Corrugated board is used in shipping, packaging, and construction. It’s strong and durable enough to be used as a structural material. The corrugated boards we use in our products are made from 100% recycled fibers, which helps reduce the amount of virgin wood pulp needed for our business.

Cornstarch Packaging

Cornstarch Packaging was created as an alternative to plastic bags and other food packaging materials. It’s made from corn starch, extracted from corn kernels, dried, and ground into a powder. It can be used in everything from cereal boxes to candy wrappers and even yogurt cups. It’s compostable, which means it will biodegrade over time when thrown away in a compost pile or landfill.

Eco packaging makes a statement about your company and allowing customers to see it instantly lets them know that you are thinking green. This is especially important when targeting a growing market of consumers who are interested in buying eco-friendly products. Since there are so many factors to consider when choosing eco packaging, be sure to do plenty of research before settling on a particular type.
